Diamond is in fact the hardest natural substance on earth, it can cut any kind of rock or metal.
And only another diamond can cut a diamond.
Diamonds are natural magnets for grease. So how to keep your precious stones clean and sparkling?
Take a small bowl to combine 1 part mild dish washing detergent with 3 parts warm water.
Dip a soft bristle toothbrush into the soap mixture.
Gently scrub the stone and the metal backing.
Where the diamond is held in place by pressure from the shank, it shouldn’t be scrubbed too hard, so be gentle with the toothbrush.
Just rinse your diamond jewelry with water and dry with a soft cloth.
Note: if you’re working over a sink, make sure to close the drain.
